Devoted Mother and Family-Centered Life

Hayley’s greatest joy came from being a mother. Choosing to stay home during her children’s formative years, she was deeply devoted to creating a nurturing and loving environment. Once her youngest child, Kori, started school, Hayley pursued higher education, eventually earning a degree and beginning a meaningful career with the Canadian Red Cross. Her work was an extension of her deep commitment to helping others.

Passionate Hockey Mom and Lifelong Fan

A proud “hockey mom,” Hayley spent countless hours cheering at the rink, supporting her children as they skated and competed. She shared a special bond with her husband, Troy, over their shared love for hockey. Together, they made annual trips to Boston to watch NHL games, always rooting for their favorite team—the New York Rangers. These trips became a beloved family tradition, filled with joy, memories, and spirited hockey talk.

A Traveler at Heart with a Love for Sneakers

Hayley’s sense of adventure took her to many places, both near and far. She relished every new journey, always on the lookout to add to her growing sneaker collection—a hobby that brought her great joy. Whether exploring new cities or relaxing at home, Hayley knew how to make the most of every moment.

A Creative Soul with a Passion for Art

Creativity was woven into every part of Hayley’s life. From painting and ceramics to homemade gifts, her artistic spirit shined brightly. She often spent time crafting with friends, turning simple gatherings into cherished memories. Her talent and imagination brought beauty and joy to everyone around her.

Animal Lover and Devoted Pet Parent

Hayley’s deep love for animals was well known. Her six beloved fur children were a constant source of happiness and companionship. Whether caring for them at home or taking them on walks, Hayley’s bond with her pets was heartfelt and enduring.

Remembering Special Bonds and Honoring Caregivers

Hayley was especially close to her late grandmother, Florence (Honalon) Hebert, who held a sacred place in her heart. Their bond was one of the defining relationships of Hayley’s life and continues to live on through her memory.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of 3BN Palliative Care at Saint John Regional Hospital.
