Hayley’s greatest joy came from being a mother. Choosing to stay home during her children’s formative years, she was deeply devoted to creating a nurturing and loving environment. Once her youngest child, Kori, started school, Hayley pursued higher education, eventually earning a degree and beginning a meaningful career with the Canadian Red Cross. Her work was an extension of her deep commitment to helping others.
Passionate Hockey Mom and Lifelong Fan
A proud “hockey mom,” Hayley spent countless hours cheering at the rink, supporting her children as they skated and competed. She shared a special bond with her husband, Troy, over their shared love for hockey. Together, they made annual trips to Boston to watch NHL games, always rooting for their favorite team—the New York Rangers. These trips became a beloved family tradition, filled with joy, memories, and spirited hockey talk.
