Over the years, his dedication, hard work, and expertise led to a series of promotions within the Riverside Unit, where he held positions including Firefighter II-Paramedic, Engineer-Paramedic, and ultimately Fire Captain-Paramedic.

In 2018, Jason transferred to South Ops Riverside, where he took on the role of Fire Captain in the Intel program. His contributions to the statewide Intel program over the past six years were significant, as he served on the Report on Conditions Cadre, the Intel Policy and Procedure Cadre, and as an Intel Duty Officer. His leadership, guidance, and commitment to excellence made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the department as a whole.

Jason Craig’s devotion to his profession extended beyond operational duties. For over 12 years, he served proudly with the CAL FIRE Local 2881 Honor Guard, where he was honored to serve as the South Area Leader.
