Born on December 9, 1964, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Gerry was the proud son of the late Lonzo Lonnie McGuire and the late Willie Dean Hill McGuire. A lifelong resident of Dyersburg, Gerry dedicated his life to serving his hometown through his successful business, McGuire Plumbing. Known for his hard work and reliability, Gerry earned the trust and respect of countless customers and friends over the years.
Passionate Outdoorsman and Family Man
Gerry was more than just a skilled tradesman — he was a true outdoorsman who found joy and peace in the natural world. Whether yo-yo fishing on a quiet afternoon or deer hunting through Tennessee’s woods, Gerry felt most at home in nature.
He also had a remarkable sense of humor and was known as a jokester with a quick wit. His ability to make people laugh and feel at ease was one of his most endearing qualities. Above all, Gerry was a loving family man, always ready to offer support, share a laugh, or celebrate life’s milestones with those he cherished.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Dunahoo McGuire, along with his parents.
