Born on March 22, 1952, in Wisconsin, Johnn was the son of Gerald and Margaret Molburg. From a young age, he displayed an innate curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a passion for learning. Johnn excelled academically and athletically, earning recognition at Wisconsin High School for his leadership and as a key player on the football team.
After graduating in 1970, Johnn pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1974. It was during his time at the university that he met the love of his life, Cynthia “Cindy” Bell, whom he married on July 15, 1976.
A Fulfilling Career and Family Life
In 1980, Johnn and Cindy relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they built a loving home and raised their three children: Kevin, Sarah, and Matthew. Johnn enjoyed a successful career as a mechanical engineer, contributing to significant projects that shaped the region. Known for his professionalism and dedication, Johnn earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
As a grandfather, Johnn found immense joy in his grandchildren—Ethan, Lily, and Olivia. Whether teaching them about fishing, sharing stories, or cheering them on at their activities, his love and pride were evident in every interaction.
