The incident occurred at approximately 6:42 p.m. near Wall Church Road. A Ford Explorer, driven by a 72-year-old man from Farmingdale, was traveling southbound on State Highway 35 when it struck Losacano. Despite prompt emergency response and transportation to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, Losacano succumbed to his injuries on Monday, November 18, 2024.
